Believe it or not there exist hundreds of Solitaire card games ranging from spider solitaire to pyramid solitaire to the traditional freecell solitaire. Many varieties are multiplayer types but most are single player matching solitaire games. Most involve stacking cards, and are played with one or more decks of cards. Solitaire games typically involve dealing cards into a prescribed arrangement, from which the player attempts to reorder the deck by suit and rank through a series of moves by dragging the cards between stacks. Rules vary in complexity and required skill levels also depend on the type of solitare game. Most people think of Klondike Solitaire when they refer to a solitaire game, so consequently it's considered one of the classic variations of the game. Another popular classic game is FreeCell Solitaire with a standard 52 deck and four open cells and four open foundation.
